About Bollywood :- India remains the largest film producer of the world,
producing an average of 1000 films a year. Since 1931, when the talkies were
introduced, India has produced more than 67,000 films in 30 languages.
Bollywood has come a long way since 1896 when soundless movies made its advent
into India with the Lumiere Brothers. "Raja Harishchandra" in 1913 made by the
legendary Dadasaheb Phalke heralded the birth of the Indian film industry. Today
popularly known as Bollywood.
The success of the film is determined by its stars, music, film score,
choreography and playback singers. Today songs are played at weddings,
festivals, nightclubs, cutting across the numerous ethnicities and lifestyles of
Indians, as well as the Indian diaspora spread across the globe. Demonstrating
that westernization need not affect the Indian identity. |
Bollywood Tourism - First Time In India.
It is promoted by the film star Suniel Shetty to create a daylong package in
Mumbai. The first organised tourism India of one of the India's largest and most
glamorous industry Bollywood.

Bollywood Tourism is a daylong package especially created for the visitors
from around the world. This package is the familiarisation trip to give a real
feel of the movie and the televsion industry.
The Day is Broken into 2 sessions :-
Session 1 BollywooDrome:- A visit to Filmistan at a specially created
studio by us called 'Bollywoodrome'. The Visitors will be taken through a
simulated experience of behind-the-scenes world if Hindi movies. The session
will star with a curtain raiser on the history of Bollywood. After that a
director will take the visitors through a simulated experience on how aspects of
shooting such as stunts, choreography, emotions are produced.
Session 2 on the set :- An intimate exposure to the behind-the-scenes
activities of a movie or a teleserial. Get an inside look at the sets and what
goes into the making of movies. Or get to watch capable technicians work on a
movie at a post production studio. Watch a likely hit of tomorrow being shot and
get a feel of the movie and the television industry.
