CITIES OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH

Dirang is a sub-divisional headquarters in West Kameng district with beautiful apple orchards and sheep breeding farms. Also nearby are hot-springs, where people go for holy dips, and Kalachakra-Gompa. The languages spoken here are Monpa, Hindi, Assamese and English. Dirang is ideal for trekking and hiking.

Best Season to visit : April to October.

Accessibility : Nearest airport and railhead are at Tezpur and Rangapara respectively. Thereafter buses can be taken from Bomdila.

Clothing : Heavy woollens are required in winters and light woollens in late summers.
