The village of Dugaur lies in merwara region. One of the most interesting features here is the temple of karni mata and the adjoining land around it called oran. A protected temple land, this area has managed to maintain its thick vegetation and also attracts a large variety of birds. Dugaur is a convenient stopover. The Dugaur fort was built in 1750 A.D. it is built in a traditional rajput style, having an imposing entrance gate, courtyards and balconies. The rooms are large and airy and some of them have frescoes still in a very good condition. Among the events organised on request for the visitor are the camel safaris to pushkar alongwith camping facilities.
