Longuinhos, opposite the tourist office, is recommended for Goan cusine. Goan sausages are good cheap. They also do pastries, sweets and good tandoori dishes, and there's busy bar: draught beer is available.
 

Food Affair is a subterranean restaurant near Tato that has tasty north Indian food and attentive service. Main dishes are not expensive. For nourishment of a spiritual nature the Divine Services Centre is conveniently located just across the road.
