The entrance to the sanctuary is the imposing Sariska palace. Built
at the close of 19th century by Maharajah Jai Singh of Alwar, this palace
was originally a royal hunting lodge. Conveniently located 199 kms from
Delhi and 120 kms from Jaipur, Sariska palace is today a palace hotel with
all the amenities to make the guest feel like a maharajah.
