In Lothal excavations have brought to light an ancient port complete with dockyard measuring 218 x 37 metres connected to sea through river Bhagava. Streets laid out in chess-board pattern, dividing the town into many blocks, houses with bathrooms and underground drainage system are identical to the ones found at Mohanjodaro and various arts and artifacts are the interesting features of this place.

The temple dedicated to Shri Adishwara, the first Jain Apostle, is the most sacred. The Four Faced Temple enshrines a quadruple image of Adinath. A fantastic collection of temple jewels can be seen during the deity adorning ceremonies at the Shri Adishwara Temple. The 600 meter climb to Shetrunjay is made on foot (lift-chairs are available).
