Cauvery, the Kanika and the Sujyothi). The temple here, built in Kerala
style, has smaller shrines dedicated to various gods. It is also an
important bee keeping center.

It is from here that the river Cauvery takes its birth. On October 17th
every year the river rises in the form of a bubbling spring. It is
