Money The State Bank of Mysore, on the corner of Irwin and Ashoka Roads, has efficient foreign exchange facilities, as does its branch office on Sayaji Rao Roads. The Bank of Baroda on Gandhi Square provides cash advanced on MasterCard and Visa credit cards.
Post and Telecommunication The GPO is on the corner of Irwin and Ashoka Roads. It's open between 10 am and 6 pm, though the poste restante facility is only open until 4 pm. There's a handy local post office on the first floor of a building fronting KR Circle. The central telegraph office is on the western side of the palace and is open 24 hours. |
