The excellent, partly air-conditioned Thali Restaurant, at the Homestead Hotel.

The restaurant at the Aida Hotel has very good food, and the Ambassador Hotel has a bufet lunch of Keralan delights. 

Vembanad Lake Resort receives positive reports for its outdoor eating area and house-boat restaurant. The setting is exquisite but the food is ordinary and the service reluctant.
