Situated at Likabali, Malinithan is famous for its archaeological discoveries i.e. excavations of the ruins of temples belonging to the 14th-15th century. The ruins include sculptures of Indra and Airavata, Surya and Nandi Bull. About 5 kms away from here are Akash-Ganga waterfalls where people go to take a bath to wash away their sins. The languages spoken here are Adi, Hindi, Assamese and English. Malinithan is ideal for trekking and hiking.

Accessibility : Nearest airport is at Lilabari. Nearest railway station would be Silapathar. One can reach Malinithan by bus or car from Silapathar.
