Deeg with its exquisite complex of
pleassure palaces lies 22 miles north of Bharatpur.
Created in the mid 1700 by Raja Badan Singh
and later, Raja Surajmal, as an idyllic palace of
refuge from the battles in which they were constantly engaged.
This interesting town is strewn with massive fortifications,
stunningly beautiful gardens, magnificent parades and
