Situated at D-43A Subhash Marg, C-Scheme, is not that centrally located, but the food is great. This multicuisine veg restaurant has moderately priced fare served in pleasant surroundings. A speciality is the rava dosa , which is a ground rice and semolina pancake with coconut, chilli, carrot and onion. |
Natraj

Situated at MI road, very good veg place that's also popular for its Indian sweets and spicy nibbles. Their north Indian food is tasty; the vegetable bomb curry is a blast. |
Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar

Situated in Johari Bazaar, has been going strong since 1954. Out the front, a counter serves snacks and colourful Indian sweets. |
Indian Coffee House

Situated at MI road, off the street, next to Arrow men's wear, is rather seedy inside, but good if you are craving a decent cup of coffee. Cheap south Indian food is also available. |

You can eat in, take away, or opt for the free delivery service. Also in the Ganpati Plaza is ' Baskin 31 Robins ', where you can indulge in ice-creams with evocative names such as 'kiss me nut'. |

It is opposite the main post office, is tucked away at the back of the Maya Mansions building. It's nothing flash as far as decor goes, but it offers scrumptious barbecue dishes at reasonable prices. In the evenings, you can get take- away kebabs at the entrance to the restaurant. |
